You decide how Pet Insurance Compare manages your personal details, and you can request that we don't sell or share your information.
For US dog and cat insurance, Pet Insurance Compare offers a comparison website rather than acting as an insurer, agent, or broker. We neither sell, quote, nor bind insurance, and we don't sell personal information for money.
You don't need to send a plan request to view plans or prices. The site doesn't set cookies or use third-party analytics, advertising, or social scripts.
Selling or sharing, defined
When you send a plan request, you provide your pet’s species, age, breed, and ZIP code, along with your name and an email or phone. An insurance agency selected for your pet receives the request and may pay the site upon receiving it. Handing your request to the agency that you asked to hear from counts as a disclosure you direct. Some state privacy laws may treat forwarding that request as sharing.
Your opt-out choices
To keep your information from reaching an agency, avoid sending a plan request. If you sent a request already, email hello@pet-insurance-compare.com and include the email address or phone number you provided. Plan requests are kept only for as long as needed to pass them along and handle related questions.
Global Privacy Control
Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is treated by the site as an opt-out request for sale or sharing. Answers you enter in the plan finder remain in the local storage of your browser on your own device until you clear the site's data.
Additional privacy rights
You can ask to know, correct, or delete your personal information. This right applies if you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, or another state with privacy laws. Use email to contact us with any privacy request: hello@pet-insurance-compare.com. This is our only contact method, and we don't discriminate against people who use a right. At the bottom of each page, you'll find the name and address of the business that operates the site.
