How Pet Insurance Compare Is Paid
Pet Insurance Compare is a US site for comparing pet insurance, and the agency that receives your plan request may pay it.
This website isn't an insurer, agent, or broker, and it neither sells, quotes, nor binds insurance. You can view plans and prices for your dog or cat without sending a request.
Every page names the business and its address at the bottom. That business operates the website. Insurer policy documents determine coverage. To contact us by email, write to hello@pet-insurance-compare.com.
How payment for the site works
The insurance agency that gets your request may pay the site when you ask to hear about plans. No one sells personal information for money.
When your request is passed to the single agency you asked to hear from, that's a disclosure you direct. Some state privacy laws may treat this step as sharing.
What payment leaves unchanged
No insurer can pay to change plan terms, ranking in a list, or our coverage of them. The plan finder puts insurers that publish pricing for the species, age, and breed of your pet first, ordering them from the lowest price. Insurers with no published price come next without one.
Each insurer's own documents provide the published plan terms, and every source is linked. If a term is wrong or outdated, email hello@pet-insurance-compare.com and include the source so we can review the insurer's documents and correct it.
Who gets your request
You may send one request containing your pet's age, species, and breed. It also includes your ZIP code, name, and contact details: an email address or contact number. The request also shows where it came from and the displayed plan finder version.
Only one insurance agency chosen for your pet receives the request; it stays available just long enough for forwarding and dealing with questions. Next to the send button, a notice beginning with "By" says that sending this request means you agree that an insurance agency may contact you. That agency is chosen for your pet. Regarding pet insurance plans, that agency may contact you by phone, text, or email using the number and address supplied in your request. This also covers contacting you "with automated dialing technology". Buying anything from that agency doesn't require "Agreeing".
